What is the Acuscope/Myopulse System?
The Electro-Acuscope is a highly sophisticated electronic medical instrument which is designed to scan and treat many types of conditions resulting from a disruption in the body’s electrical conduction system. This disruption can cause chronic pain, acute pain or inflammation, brain fog, headaches, insomnia, depression, fatigue, anxiety/panic attacks, digestive issues, and many other health conditions. The Acuscope is a microcurrent biofeedback device. The Acuscope is a technician driven device. In other words, we don’t hook you up to a machine and simply walk away. The Acuscope gives the technician information regarding what areas of the body are not getting the proper flow of electrical conduction. Our bodies are regulated and operated by electrical stimulation and if a patient has a block of electrical conduction then the patient will experience disease of disorder in that particular part of the body. This includes mitochondria utilization within our body cells. If our mitochondria are not properly functioning then we have issues with energy and cognitive clarity.
The Acuscope has been very successful for pain reduction. The Acuscope gently stimulates the muscles, tendons and ligaments, reducing spasm, inflammation and strengthening tissue damaged by traumatic injury. In Dr. Canada’s opinion, the Acuscope is the most technologically advanced and effective electronic equipment available in health care today.
Who uses this equipment?
The Acuscope is currently being used by professional athletic teams, sports medicine practices, hospitals, and by thousands of private doctors and therapists in every field of medicine throughout the world.
According to widespread publicity, many outstanding athletes have been significantly helped by the treatments; several who received Acuscope treatments for pain and injury won gold medals at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
The Acuscope System is also very effective with both small and large animals. The Acuscope system is becoming extremely popular in working with equine athletes. Horse owners in all sectors of horse competitions are utilizing the Acuscope device to give their equine athletics a competitive advantage.
How do these instruments work?
The Acuscope establishes a two-way communication(biofeedback) between the device’s own circuitry and the electrical signals from the area of the patient’s body being treated. This biofeedback technology measures such things as tissue conductivity and cell capacitance. Cell capacitance is the capacity of the cells to hold an electrical charge. If a patient has an area of chronic pain, the body tissues are very inflamed which results in low tissue conductivity and capacitance. The Acuscope treatment introduces gentle currents in wave forms similar to the body’s own electrical signals. The Acuscope is programmed to generate the current pulse which damaged nerve tissue requires in order to return to a normal, pain free state.
When damage or trauma occurs, there is a disruption in the production of electricity and a measurable decrease in the flow of energy through the tissues involved. This condition is called electrical resistance and is generally accompanied by a sensation of pain in the area.
During treatment, the Acuscope introduces mild electrical current into the cells of the body in order to return the tissue to a normal level of electrical activity. This process may be likened to a “jump start” and “putting a charge” in the battery of a car. The Acuscope produces battery generated electrical signals in patterns similar to and comparable with that which is produced by the body’s own normal, healthy cells, the kind and level of energy which is constantly flowing through every living person and animal. The level of electrical impedance is measured in microamps and is not “shocking”. The Acuscope microcurrent technology is safe and effective for all humans and animals.
The opening of the electrical conduction in the body improves circulation, produce and more effectively utilize proteins and other nutrients required for cell metabolism and repair. In this way, the instrument assists the body in accelerating the natural self-healing processes. In addition, mild electrical current cause the body to generate endorphins(happy hormones). The immediate pain relieving results, as well as the long term benefits of an Acusope treatment, may therefore be considered an electro-chemical response occurring in the involved area at a cellular level.
The number of treatments required will depend on the severity and extent of the condition as well as the body’s ability to heal itself. Age, a general state of health, habits and even state of mind may influence the length of time required for complete recovery. Somewhere between five and fifteen treatments is the normal average.
Our patients have experienced much success with this technology. Many of our patients are frustrated with utilizing other technologies with little to no results. Our patients are amazed with the pain or symptom reduction in the first few visits. This technology has seemed to help our patients when all our therapies have failed them.
